Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, he has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. The war was a terrible time for him, and John does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. He receives visions of the future at random moments

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Over the years he perfected his riding and shooting skills. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and he is content

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Description: He is a small man, but exceptionally fit. He wears clothing that is held on in multiple layers but all of it is in poor condition. He has moderate length auburn hair. His gray eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.

Personality: He likes to brag about his accomplishments and constantly tries to beat others to the punch. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Fletcher hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.
