History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Description: He stands about 6'0" and tends to wear a heavy leather apron. Coupled with his rolled up shirt sleeves this gives him a very relaxed look. His right leg appears badly burned and disfigured. His auburn hair is cut jaggedly and amateurishly. He has a tattooed face.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Ralf embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: He got into the Shepherd business at a young age. He was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform He struck the Shepherd job and began his own company from there.

Motivation: To prove his worth to the world; and balancing his hectic life and new shepherd responsibilities is difficult

Description: This man is very fat, and wears a shirt that is too small, which lets his gut show, with a ratty tan coat over it. He wears his auburn hair up in a very large beehive style do. His amber eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: He has a good heart but also a terrible temper. He will forgive often but not before yelling and berating someone for whatever they have done wrong. On top of that he is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to his employer will always come first he doesn't like to hit women.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. Through the years after Clerebold was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Clerebold's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: Wants his loneliness to end; and he's in love

Personality: Diggory is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. He is obsessed with his god.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Diggory was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: Miles was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark
