History: Miles was born with his father's beautiful face. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: Here is a man who knows he is the smartest in the room. He talks down to others constantly. Ralf is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his sisters into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: He was raised in a forest tribe. The family's rival house kidnapped his sister with the intent that his sister marry their son to gain control of contested properties. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes drow are coming to abduct people. Hubert enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: When he was but 8 years old his parents immigrated from the east. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to his current location. Some 10 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Hubert never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and he wants revenge against drow
