He carries his fan with him everywhere and carries himself as the perfect gentleman. His hair is brown and curly. His face is full, his cheeks are rosy, and he always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in his violet eyes.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. He is stubborn though. He always likes to keep a trick up his sleeve. He likes to fight dirty and will kick and punch below the belt if he feels he even has a chance of losing.

Description: A man with a warm, jovial air about him, he wears silk and lounges about seductively. He wears his hair in dreadlocks. His brown eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: He is extraordinarily eccentric. Flattery will make him almost putty in your hands.

History: Aldous lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent father.

Description: This petite short man is perpetually holding a tea of some kind. He sports black clothing, slightly heavier than average wear, marred by teas. His black hair is singed and shortened. His eyes are a pleasant hazel.

Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. The war was a terrible time for him, and Manfred does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He got into the Fortune-teller business at a young age. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and he loathes his own lifestyle

Personality: He is envious of other's things. He hoards treasure, art, food, wine, and anything that he so desires. The occasional robbery is his preferred attention getting crime, but he mainly uses his means for meeting his own perverse desires.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Thomas grew up listening to his mother's many stories. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Detective. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Personality: He hates dire rats. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He invented a lineage for himself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother.
