Cursed with vampirism at a very young age, Manfred has worked very hard to control his curse. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

History: He was born into a rich family. In his 14th year, his parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Heward alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
