He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Through the years after Bertram was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Bertram's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Personality: He fancies himself a trickster and likes to rely on his wits to carry the day. He cares for his older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. The war was a terrible time for him, and Rolf does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
