History: When he was but 6 years old his parents immigrated from the north. Through the years after Raymond was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Raymond's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

History: Miles lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his father's willingness to do anything to win. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Layabout for the past few years.

Motivation: Further expansion of business; and he will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. if successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact

Personality: Calm and collected, he is a well trained Layabout. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: Bertram lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in.
