History: He got into the Banker business at a young age. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Banker. Being a Banker kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He is an amazing painter.

History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his father. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Humans in Roland's homeland. Roland decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Personality: He has always had a great fascination with Human culture. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Humans.

History: Bernard was born with his mother's beautiful face. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). After a long history of fighting, Bernard and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality; and he has decided he is irredeemable

Description: He is a physically imposing dark-skinned man. He is perpetually draped in fineries, but all of this concealed by his earthly robes.. His hair is golden, silky, and of moderate length. His amber eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. He constantly seizes attention wherever he goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. He likes to think of himself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. His father was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Personality: He loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from him. He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Human in existence. He tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. As a young child he wandered into the woods despite his father's warnings against it. Afterwards he claimed he had encountered goblins who tried to eat his hand. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.
