History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. In his 16th year, his parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Randal alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Randal was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the illithids.

History: Justin lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His mother worked until he suffered an accident while they were digging through a hill for a new route. He had to support his now crippled mother and took his mother's old job. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
