Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. His temper goes off on the smallest of things. He tends to lash out at those around him.

History: John hails from a village terrorized by goblins. He found a children's book about a Human Fighter who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: He's looking for his big break; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

History: Born in the south his family was never financially stable. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Slave Trader work with an outfit from a few towns over. Slave Trader work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He has achieved small success as a Slave Trader.

Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and further expansion of business
