History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the north were limited. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. His first spouse was a Fisher, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and doesn't want to be a barber and was forced into it by his family

Description: This man stands a little under 6'6" and is a bit bulky. He is very muscular particularly in the legs. He is wearing dark clothing and a heavy breastplate, keeping many of his physical features obscured. His golden hair has been sun bleached extensively. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: He is business-like. He takes instructions and follows them to the letter. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Shane grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Shane. He would ruin relationships and cause injury. He was reprimanded several times before being given his current form and forced to learn humility.

History: He comes from a rich eastern family. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the east were limited. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
