History: Miles was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Fighter, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Fighter in service of a powerful lord somewhere. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the mountains to a summer home near a ruined castle. He would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the mountains due to the painful memories there. Miles took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up shortbow and armor he uses now. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He now mingles about in high society.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Through the years after Kody was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Kody's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature sword.
