History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Personality: He is a man who does what he needs to. He will acquiesce to black mail and extortion to avoid trouble. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. In his 16th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help; and a rival would like him out of the picture
