Beneath his sweater he keeps a concealed scimitar, just in case, marred by chocolates. He has a black handlebar mustache and slicked back black hair. His eyes are green and beady.

Personality: He can speak with the recently deceased. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His parents were killed by brigands in a raid when he was still a young child. The brigands captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by brigands. John was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the brigands.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and he desires to right it.
