When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Unemployed hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. He is harsh and unforgiving.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: His religion dominates his actions.

Description: He likes to wear darkened spectacles and heavy clothing, no matter the weather. He has a moderate pudge and is not very fit. His hair is short and white. His face is full, his cheeks are rosy, and he always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in his green eyes.

Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of illithids may trigger it at times.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Ernest was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Ernest decided he wanted neither the life of his father nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature glaive.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and revenge

Personality: He is a jovial happy person, but he is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. He is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of him. He is by nature obliging.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Bather arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Humans.

History: He comes from a rich southern family. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He was granted divine powers by his dying sister.

Motivation: Human compassion; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever
