History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Shepherd arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Gerald was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. History: His martial talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. A freak accident while working with his Hunter father left him crippled. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.
