History: Born in the south to a Unemployed, Adelard learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He always admired arcane-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 12 years.

Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. A fanatic, his devotion to his small selection of gods is unquestionable. He claims to be doing their will and will base all his actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs

Personality: He is irascible and easily irritated. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Miner but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: Shane was born in the west. At a young age he loved to build and create. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. After a long history of fighting, Shane and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the north. He is a ruthless business man, a trait he acquired from his father.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. A freak accident while working with his Adventurer father left him crippled. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: He uses money and sex appeal to get what he needs; and retire the richest man in the north
