History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Guy grew up listening to his father's many stories. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with poetry. He constantly tries to fill his life with poetry. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Randal was born on a far western mountains where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Body Guard. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: He is a jovial happy person, but he is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Carpenter for hire.

He has a penchant for wearing a ring with an oversized topaz on his left hand. His hair is black and curly. His skin is flawless and his gray eyes scan people very quickly.

Personality: He is shy and timid. He has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. He is underhanded and not above using his wealth and body to get others to do his bidding.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Solomon was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Bookbinder work with an outfit from a few towns over. Bookbinder work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: When he was but 6 years old his parents immigrated from the west. His childhood dream was to be a Carter, but he was a colossal failure. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
