He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

He is tall, broad shouldered and powerfully built. His auburn hair is long and unkept. His face is feral with sharp distinguishing features. His spectacle hidden eyes are a deep green.

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Ernest will drive conversation. He never wears the same outfit twice, unless he absolutely has to.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He always admired martial-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature spear.
