History: His arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Humans in Gerard's homeland. Gerard decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
