When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Soapmaker hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes; and wants to work out more often

He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Guard. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
