History: Bernard was raised in a hard working conservative environment. His childhood dream was to be a Brewer, but he was a colossal failure. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Gerald is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
