History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. As a very small child his family refused to pay dues to a local crime lord, who ordered them killed. His mother, a somewhat powerful mage sought to protect him and cast a teleportation spell that whisked him away. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Bounty Hunter they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Carter, and he later adopted a second daughter.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. Cursed with a spirit at a very young age, Charles has worked very hard to control his curse. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions.

History: Arnold lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His psionic abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Motivation: He possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Everard fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
