History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He was granted necromantic powers by his dying brother.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. He always admired martial-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Nicholas fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: Ralf was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. He was taken from his home at a very young age. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Motivation: He has passion for adventuring and risk; and a rival would like him out of the picture

History: He was born in the north. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and his religion dominates his actions
