History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

His green eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. He has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Knight born in the past three hundred years. He is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.

History: Cory was raised in a hard working conservative environment. In his 18th year, his parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Cory alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 12 years.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and many gnolls want him driven away

Description: He is a pot bellied eastern man with a big hulking figure and broad shoulders. He is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright brown and pastel, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems. His feathered hat is riddled with cuts and holes. He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.

Personality: He does not care much for physical appearances, nor does he care much for other people. He does however care about what he wants and getting it. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: Gerard hails from a village terrorized by goblins. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: He wants revenge against goblins.

Description: He wears a tight fitting red shirt and pants. He carries with him a set of hand crossbows on his belt, each one with a topaz on the hilt. His auburn hair is cut short with large spiked bangs in the front. His otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.

Personality: His voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl he speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of his tone. Around other people he will do his best to conceal his emotions and appear jolly.

History: William lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and an old rival family wants him found

Description: With brown face paint in a stripe pattern across his face, he tends to wear a heavy leather apron. Coupled with his rolled up shirt sleeves this gives him a very relaxed look. His hair is black and curly. He has a tattooed face.

Personality: He is mildly Human supremacist, though he does not identify as such. He tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Cory was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. He now owns his own business.
