When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his music with anyone who is interested.

History: Born in the north his family was never financially stable. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature rapier.
