History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Barrister for the past few years.

Motivation: Marry his sister to traveling adventurers.

Description: A middle-aged man, he is generally shirtless and showing off his tattooed chest, and is pretty ugly. His auburn hair is kept up in a ponytail inside a Stetson hat. His gray eyes dart from person to person.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes dire rats are coming to abduct people. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of dire rats may trigger it at times.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He has been helping groups of widows and orphans who have fled abusive spouses or lost their families to dire rats.

Motivation: A deep hatred of dire rats; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg

History: Gomory was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Fighter, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Fighter in service of a powerful lord somewhere. His childhood dream was to be a Crown-heir, but he was a colossal failure. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Marshal for hire.

Personality: He is business-like. He takes instructions and follows them to the letter. He tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: He was raised in a island tribe. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it.
