History: He was born at the edge of vast desert. Hugh liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He has dedicated himself to building a better village for his children.

Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. He disdains his fellow westerners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

Personality: He loves telling others what to do and how they should feel about things. His job bores him to no end. He has decided to make it more interesting.

History: He was born in the east. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He has dedicated himself to building a better trade route.

Motivation: He has decided he is irredeemable; and he's looking for his big break

Description: Wearing a closed helm and plate, one would not know what he was had he not made sure his armor was more form fitting than normal. Outside of the suit he likes to wear darkened spectacles and heavy clothing, no matter the weather. His hair is cut close to his head. His eyes are likewise gray.

Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. As long as the job gets done he does not care how it got done.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. Cursed with unlife at a very young age, Ernest has worked very hard to control his curse. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.
