History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: He loathes his own lifestyle; and to share knowledge with the world

Personality: He is unhospitable to his core. His small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: Conrad hails from a village terrorized by orcs. In his 14th year, his parents were killed by a orcs raid, leaving Conrad alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and he wants revenge against orcs

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Norman embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: He was born in the east, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. Norman was born on a far eastern desert where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Slave Trader. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and to get a good night's sleep

History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his mother. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the south were limited. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Bather.

Personality: Calm and collected, he is a well trained Interpreter. The war was a terrible time for him, and Kody does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Kody was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and wants to open a new tavern
