Personality: He exudes charisma. He is a tour de force of persuasion. Animals are drawn to him, and he is able to talk to them.

History: Balimaar lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever he goes.

Motivation: Regain custody of his daughter.

History: Kyle was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. He has recently attracted an admirer that believes he's playing hard to get.

His attire stands in sharp contrast to his nunchaku, which is beautifully polished and possesses an ornate carving of a card on it. His hair is short and blonde. His hazel eyes are slightly larger than normal.

Personality: He does not care much for physical appearances, nor does he care much for other people. He does however care about what he wants and getting it. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Balimaar is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He is a sleazy, sleazy guy. He has no qualms about using his powers of suggestion to get people to do what he wants. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: He was born in the south. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the south; and to get a good night's sleep
