Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes giants are coming to abduct people. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and balancing his hectic life and new painter responsibilities is difficult

His attire stands in sharp contrast to his dagger, which is beautifully polished and possesses an ornate carving of a cross on it. He wears a small hat to cover his moderate length brown hair. He wears large thick round spectacles.

Personality: He is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. He will do just about anything if he becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this he is easily convinced.

History: He was born in the west. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Ernest grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Ernest. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

Personality: He speaks before he thinks and is too direct. Flattery will make him almost putty in your hands.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Justin grew up listening to his father's many stories. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered singing. He has dedicated himself to building a better village for his children.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and he's looking for his big break

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He always admired arcane-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
