History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Richard was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He always admired psionic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He's also a talented Spy, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Personality: He snorts whenever he laughs or is feeling confident. He would rather hide behind his crafts than deal with other people.

History: A child with a great deal of music talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. His parents were killed by brigands in a raid when he was still a young child. The brigands captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He has never given up on his music dream.

Motivation: Many brigands want him driven away; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and he desires to right it

Personality: He goes out his way to put a smile on everyone's face. There's no-one he won't accept into his heart. He invites people to come help in his community garden.

History: When he was but 4 years old his parents immigrated from the west. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and wants to have a good time and be beloved

Personality: He is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as he rather likes the sound of his voice. His demeanor is somewhat feminine. He never wears the same outfit twice, unless he absolutely has to.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His father was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: Wants to have a good time and be beloved.

Personality: He is irascible and easily irritated. He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. Through the years after Ralf was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Ralf's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Cook they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Bookbinder, and he later adopted a second son.

Motivation: To end his boredom; and doesn't want to be a bookbinder and was forced into it by his family
