History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Aldous was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-brother.

History: He was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Crown-heir they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Shipwright, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: To be a Crown-heir again; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.

History: When he was but 5 years old his parents immigrated from the north. Like his father and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Priest. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.
