During his travels, Odo and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Odo discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Odo fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.

Personality: Here is a man who knows he is the smartest in the room. He talks down to others constantly. The war was a terrible time for him, and Theobald does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Theobald grew up listening to his father's many stories. He found a children's book about a Human Fighter who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and he wants to meet his childhood hero

History: Born to a Roofer, his father struggled to pay the bills. Ostracized due to the necromantic powers of his oldest brother, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. He was granted necromantic powers by his dying brother.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and he is content
