History: Patrick hails from a village terrorized by giants. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Wants to work out more often.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Personality: He does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. His job bores him to no end. He has decided to make it more interesting.

History: He was born in a small island village. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: He's looking for his big break; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark
