History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

History: He was born into a rich family. He helped his mother out around the business and became quite the natural. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Personality: Theobald speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. He is harsh and unforgiving.

History: Theobald was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Fighter, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Fighter in service of a powerful lord somewhere. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

History: Godfrey was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Godfrey was orphaned to a temple shortly after his birth. He was raised by the temple staff to care always for others above himself and to hold his god always in his heart. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
