History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. His necromantic abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. Being a Servant kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. After a long history of fighting, Raymond and his spouse have recently divorced.
