History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. A freak accident while working with his Architect mother left him crippled. During his travels, Bertram and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Bertram discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Bertram fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. Cursed with a spirit at a very young age, Hubert has worked very hard to control his curse. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Gilbert was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Personality: He's a bit of a prankster. He knows he is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. He is fiercely devoted to his father, and views his father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-brother.

History: He was born into a rich family. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
