History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His psionic abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Navigator but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Dean grew up listening to his father's many stories. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.
