History: Gilbert hails from a village terrorized by illithids. At a young age his father died while driving off some illithids. His mother being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train him in nunchaku use. He became a Detective soon after.

Personality: He is extraordinarily eccentric. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: He was born in the south, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. A freak accident while working with his Ruler father left him crippled. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: He's looking for his big break.

Personality: He is envious of other's things. He hoards treasure, art, food, wine, and anything that he so desires. He is kind towards other men and children and will generally offer men help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to him.

History: He was born in the south. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion.

Description: A man with a cold, calculating air about him, he prefers to wear brown clothing when he does not wear armor. His golden hair is drawn into a tight pony tail with a rose scrunchie. His eyes are hazel and beady.

Personality: He is intelligent and cunning, but he will too often allow his rage to get the better of him. He will lose his cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. Anthony abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Tailor they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Barber, and he later adopted a second son.

Motivation: Many illithids want him driven away; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

Description: This malnourished man is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers his face most of the time. His long auburn hair reaches down to his waist. His eyes are gray.

Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. He will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. He cares deeply for his spouse and does his best to make sure his guests look presentable.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Lewis was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Fortune-teller hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. Some 8 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Lewis never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his father had trained him before.
