Personality: He is extraordinarily eccentric. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: Born in the east to a Layabout, John learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. When John reached his early adolescence his Human mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He became a Layabout soon after.

Motivation: He feels kind of lost in life; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: To be a Mason again; and he seems to be bored by most things

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.
