History: Born in the west his family was never financially stable. Cursed with vampirism at a very young age, Bertram has worked very hard to control his curse. After a long history of fighting, Bertram and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Richard was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Through the years after Richard was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north.
