History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. Cursed with a spirit at a very young age, Lance has worked very hard to control his curse. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Description: An older man who wears an old set of leather armor, nicked and torn by the ravages of time and battle, he is not a threatening figure. His blonde hair is drawn into a tight pony tail with a dagger scrunchie. His eyes are green and catlike.

Personality: He is fixated on the number 23. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. His first spouse was a Detective, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He struck the Animal Trainer job and began his own company from there.

Motivation: Money/treasure.

Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. He passes on several rewards to people in need. He makes a point to leave places better than he found them.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. His parents were killed by brigands in a raid when he was still a young child. The brigands captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and he desires to right it; and revenge

Personality: He is quiet and unassuming. He ignores others and carries on with his job unassumingly. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Like his father and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Layabout. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Layabout for hire.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and he seems to be bored by most things
