Description: He wears clothing that is held on in multiple layers but all of it is in poor condition, and he perpetually has his longsword ready. His long blonde hair is drawn into a two foot long braid. He has amber eyes and a brown hat with a tan feather.

Personality: He acts crazy and hedonistic. He constantly seizes attention wherever he goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. He likes to think of himself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Weaver hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. Now he works as a poetry tutor during his time off.

Motivation: He feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world.

Description: This petite short man is perpetually holding a sweet of some kind. He prefers to wear tan clothing when he does not wear armor, marred by sweets. His chestnut hair is cut jaggedly and amateurishly. His gray eyes peer out from beneath his small tan hat.

Personality: Always inclined to offer people food he seems plenty friendly. The war was a terrible time for him, and Gerard does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Gerard was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and regain custody of his daughter

Description: He is a paragon of his species. He is larger and stronger than most Humans. His skin is dark but he possesses many brown ritualistic tattoos. He wears light armors faded through time and improper care. He has shaved his head bald. He wears a mask on his face.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Ralf was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Through the years after Ralf was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Ralf's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and to find somewhere to settle down

Description: A man of a pale complexion, he dresses in collared shirts and wears a proper scarf over his head. He has a long silver beard with little hanging trinkets. His face possesses mild wrinkles. His smile is extraordinarily sincere though he does not smile often.

Personality: He hates illithids. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. Animals are drawn to him, and he is able to talk to them.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has never given up on his dancing dream.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the north; and he wants revenge against illithids

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Mortician. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Motivation: To settle down with his crush; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs
