History: Hugh was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Fighter, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Fighter in service of a powerful lord somewhere. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Carpenter arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Like his father and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Carpenter. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Carpenter.

Personality: He has always had a great fascination with Human culture. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Human conditions. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

Personality: He is business-like. He takes instructions and follows them to the letter. He is afraid of women and trembles around them

History: He got into the Sage business at a young age. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. He has achieved small success as a Sage.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and he is unsatisfied with his job
