History: Peter hails from a village terrorized by giants. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: A deep hatred of giants; and he wants revenge against giants

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Layabout born in the past three hundred years. Further he is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To be a Slave Trader again.

Description: He is wearing colorful clothing, dressed as a Map Maker, and carries shortbows. He wears his black hair up. He has several tiny opal earrings on each ear.

Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Like his mother and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Map Maker. He became a Map Maker soon after.

Motivation: Many giants want him driven away; and balancing his hectic life and new map maker responsibilities is difficult

Personality: He goes out his way to put a smile on everyone's face. There's no-one he won't accept into his heart. He is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of him. He is by nature obliging.

History: The child of a Ruler, who enjoyed hunting, Miles was taken on many hunting expeditions. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He bought a greataxe and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and he desires power and/or immortality
