Description: A middle-aged man, he wears tattered old clothes, and is pretty ugly. His moppish white hair is in a traditional bowl cut. He wears an eyepatch.
Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. He would rather hide behind his crafts than deal with other people.
History: Don was raised in a hard working conservative environment. A freak accident while working with his Courier mother left him crippled. He became a Cook soon after.

Description: He stands about 5'9" and wears an entirely black suit with violet socks and a vest with buckled shoes. His right leg appears badly burned and disfigured. His white hair is braided into rings. His eyes are a pleasant green.
Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. He can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.
History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his mother. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. He was granted arcane powers by his dying brother.
Motivation: To end his boredom; and he seems to be bored by most things

Description: A man with a calm yet intense air about him, he is wearing a long, brown cloak. He has dyed his greying blonde hair a little too much giving a sharp blonde color. He is baby faced.
Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with writing. He constantly tries to fill his life with writing. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.
History: Gifted from a young age, Anthony studied abroad. After coming to the age of reason, Anthony took it upon himself to study the necromantic arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Anthony fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
Motivation: Wants to raise his children well; and marry his brother to traveling adventurers

Description: An older man who wears a green collared shirt and black pants. He accessorizes with a pastel scarf around the waist and a strap diagonally across his shirt, he is not a threatening figure. He wears a Stetson hat to cover his moderate length silver hair. His fair skin shows little sign of his aristocratic breeding.
Personality: He does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. Any perceived weakness will be pressed and exploited. He is seen as merciless and passionate.
History: His arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. After coming to the age of reason, Bertram took it upon himself to study the arcane arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He has since lost track of the people in his past.
Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage.

Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his writing with anyone who is interested.
History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. He has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.
Motivation: He seems to be bored by most things; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother
