Personality: He is intelligent and cunning, but he will too often allow his rage to get the better of him. He will lose his cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. He cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.

History: Adelard was born the youngest of three triplets. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Scribe hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and to unite with his sister

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He is always in debt, since he spends his money on lavish parties and gifts for friends

History: Charles was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered writing. He tends to his Layabout job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: Regain custody of his daughter; and balancing his hectic life and new layabout responsibilities is difficult

Description: A middle-aged man, he wears just a yellow suit, and is pretty ugly. His hair is white and very short. He tend to wears goggles to shield his eyes.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Hubert embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of giants once and for all.

History: He was born in the east. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Revenge; and he wants revenge against giants

Description: He is a husky man, who wears bulky black painted plate armor. He keeps his white hair in a pixie cut. His otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.

Personality: He loves telling others what to do and how they should feel about things. He seeks to pay back kindness whenever he gets the chance. Whether it be in the form of unwanted serenades or the latest gossip he always seeks to do solids for his friends.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Dustin grew up listening to his mother's many stories. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). After a long history of fighting, Dustin and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He wants revenge against goblins; and someone believes him a fraud

Description: A stocky darker skinned man, he is well dressed, constantly wearing a black suit, blue shirt, and grey tie. His hair is blonde and very short. His ears are large.

Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. He has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. A freak accident while working with his Layabout mother left him crippled. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Justin fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever.
