History: He was born in the east. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Humans in Theodoric's homeland. Theodoric decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by drow, and he desires to right it.
