Personality: Stoic and calm, he prefers to meditate than take action. He is harsh and unforgiving.

History: Bertram was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Fighter, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Fighter in service of a powerful lord somewhere. Through the years after Bertram was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Bertram's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has dedicated himself to building a better village for his children.

Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. He can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the east. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: His religion dominates his actions; and he feels kind of lost in life

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. He is always in debt, since he spends his money on lavish parties and gifts for friends

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: To prove his worth to the world.

Personality: He has a good heart but also a terrible temper. He will forgive often but not before yelling and berating someone for whatever they have done wrong. He has a habit of throwing himself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: He comes from a rich southern family. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
